From Guest House to Private Retreat: Our Story
Ashley’s Estate Harare began as Ashley’s Guest House, where we proudly hosted travelers, families, and small groups from across Zimbabwe and beyond for over 8 years. During that time, we learned what guests value most: reliability, privacy, and peace. We also learned what disrupts it: power cuts that stop workshops, water outages that stress large groups, and shared spaces that compromise privacy.
Those lessons shaped our future.
In 2026, we made a deliberate decision to evolve. We retired the name “Guest House” and rebranded as Ashley’s Estate Harare – Private Retreat. We are no longer a guest house. We are a dedicated venue for groups who cannot afford disruption.
What Changed
We now host one group at a time. No individual rooms. No outside guests. No shared facilities. When you book Ashley’s Estate, your team gets the entire property: 10 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, private boardroom, dining for 20, full kitchen, and secure parking.
Most importantly, we invested in the infrastructure that matters. Power is guaranteed through full generator backup that runs the whole estate. Water is guaranteed through our private borehole and 5000 liter reserve tanks. Peace is guaranteed because your booking means total privacy.
